Yep, it's the building across the bay. This is the view from the new Ballast Point Brewery in Long Beach.

My sister lives in Los Alamitos and I just guessed somewhere near Long Beach and used Google maps to look at Yacht Clubs in Long Beach. It was easy to narrow down from there.

Turns out I was very near from where this photo was taken on Monday, not the brewery but a marina very close by to where the picture was taken. Trying to convince my wife we need a bigger sailboat.

This is in the lower 48. A photo of the mountain range from any other angle would give this location away. It is that distinctive. Here is another picture of this location.

It's gotta be the Grand Teton area. Those peaks are too jagged to be anywhere else (at least that I've ever seen).

Yes it is and hard to tell from this angle coming from the South. From any other angle the Teton's would be obvious to anyone who has seen a picture of it.

The pictures of the elk are in the National Elk Refuge. When I lived there the Elk population on the refuge exceeded that in the town. Matt you're up.
