i am going to try to do a lager during the spring (a munich helles hybrid), due to lack of a spare fridge i am going to youse one of the following yeasts:
YEAST STRAIN: 2565 | Kölsch™
YEAST STRAIN: 1007 | German Ale™
YEAST STRAIN: 2112 | California Lager™
YEAST STRAIN: 2124 | Bohemian Lager™

does anyone recomend one over the other for the clostest thing to a Munich Helles Lager flavor, thanks.

how well can you control your fermentation temps?

2112 will be the most forgiving of those if you can't keep your temps low - i've never tried 2124 at ale temps but some claim it's still clean. german ale will get very fruity at warmer temps (high 60s+)

yeah.... what are you talking? Can you ferment at 55, 60, 65 or 70???? That makes a big difference. Personally, if you are talking ambient temperatures of 65, and fermentation temperatures of 70..... I would actually move toward 1056.

If you can go low 60's/high 50's I would use kolsch yeast.

my basement stays at low to mid 60s an will probably stay that way until end of april early may
