Right now I have in secondary a 5 gallon extract batch of milk stout from moorebeer.com with 12oz of toasted cocunut flakes. I have read that the coconut oil from the flakes kill head retention and I have seen some pics in the forums with some flat stouts. This stout recipe calls for 4oz of corn sugar for priming, do you guys think it would be a good idea to pump to 5oz or 6oz to help with carbonation. Thanks in advance!

Head retention and carbonation aren't the same thing. Adding Carapils or similar malt to your grist can help to improve head retention. So can using a clean glass without dishwasher detergent residue. I don't think adding that much additional sugar will improve your retention, rather leave you with a stout carbed like an IPA....or a Pepsi.

Sorry, yes maybe I did not explain correctly what is that I am going after, I just want my beer to be carbonated.

No head does not equal flat beer. The oil prevents the carbonation bubbles from making a head, but they don't prevent the beer from getting carbonated. If flat beer is your fear then don't worry, you'll be fine.
