Havent brewed yet, just got all the ingredients together. Tweaking the basic Northern Brewer oatmeal stout kit by upping the oats to 1.5lbs, using 13 oz chocolate PB2 powder at 5 min and 8 oz molasses at flameout. Iwill be using 1 oz centennial 10.4 AA. I know I will have to skim the small amount of oil the PB2 will add. Anyone have any thoughts?

Hi Robert, welcome!
When I try a kit or new recipe, I generally brew it as-is, making changes later for comparison. I will substitute hops in a recipe to use what I have on hand, but I like to use hops with a similar profile.

Thanks for the input. I have done the kit before, and its OK as is, but i like to experiment. I probably shouldnt make 3 major changes, but hey, relax, dont worry, have a homebrew. I will post results of brew day, and then at tasting.
