Mixing WLP036 and Wyeast 1007

It's not looking likely I'm going to have time for a starter so buying two packs is my only option for brew day Saturday. Unfortunately, I can only get 1 pack of the Wyeast 1007 (German Ale) and 1 pack of WLP036 (Dusseldorf Alt).

Does anyone have experience mixing these two? I'm looking to make a pseudo lager.

I'm reading about these yeasts and just found this post.. Did you use them together? How was it?

I'm curious about this as well. Did the beer turn out good? I am planning on making an Alt bier soon (Uerige clone) and have Wyeast 1007 but thinking of adding WLP036 as a booster and to encourage diversity of flavor. Hoping you reply...
