In looking at the honey containers at the store, I see they are labeled as X ounces. My question is, "Are those fluid ounces or weight ounces? Or does it even matter for honey?"

Thanks in Advance

I believe they are labeled by weight; otherwise it would state fl oz. Honey is quite dense, and will weigh more for a given volume. I usually convert by going to wolframalpha.com and plugging in xx oz (lb, ect) honey, then scroll down to the bottom for measuring volumes. It also lists average nutritional information so you can estimate your sugar content for a given amount.

Its by weight. I've never seen honey sold by fluid ounce in a store or farmers market, so you should be cool.
