So i have looked high in low in the forums for this answer and couldnt find one. I did the 10 gal. mash tun build that Flyguy posted and it works great. However the screws on my clamps have rusted. I know this is a problem for many guys but my question is can i replace those with SS oetiker clamps? Seems like a good fix since im completely bi passing a screw all together. Thoughts?

The short answer is yes.
The long answer is you need the crimper. My LHBS has one and does it for me, but either way, you need the crimper.
You should be able to find good SS screw clamps at a marine store. I think thats probabaly what I would do first.

I stopped using clamps on my mash tun. Hose has been tight enough that I haven't noticed a difference. just fill your tun with water and look for bubbles around the fittings. open the valve and look for complete drainage. I think you'll find you don't need them

Cool...ill try that. The other option i was looking at was zip ties but yea i probably wont need anything like you said.

You can use SS oetiker clamps, that's what I used and a pair of wire cutter or end cutters will crimp them fine, not quite as pretty but works fine.
