Look At My Yeast, My Yeast Is Amazing...

Hey guys.

Look at my Yeast!
I've only washed and recycled from previous batches a few times now, but I just harvested and washed some White Labs 004 Irish Ale Yeast off of a stout that I just made. The fluid that the washed yeast is sitting in now is obviously (by the pic) pretty stouty. Is this o.k? I am pretty new to harvesting and I had only harvested some WL001 previously and followed the same procedure and it was fine. The color is the only thing throwing me off. Followed the same procedure as last time and it was fine.
Lemme know. It just looked pretty... dark.

Should be okay. The roasted malts are obviously going to contribute some color since it is difficult to remove all of the beer from the wash.

Looks good. I would just toss most of the liquid off and throw it in a starter before using. But it sounds like you know that already.
