Happy 5 years to this beauty, 12/13 sticker has a pungent aroma. Earthy, rotting, sweet, soft cheese... excellent mouthfeel with adequate carb, oak comes through prominently in the taste among similar earthy rot that really does it for me. Some minerals in the back end, cheese rind.

Looks like sunset is right around 2100 in late April.

If you're going, get there well before they start. I got there 20 minutes after they started, and there wasn't anything special left. Apparently a hoard of people rushed to Bokk and bought all the bottles

I have given feedback on this, so hopefully they won’t offer unopened bottles this year, that was the problem. Or not offer unopened bottles until the end of the night.

It was Cantillon and 3F bottles that were bought up, Bokkereyder had small boxes of lambic in a box.

Ah that's too bad. I was sitting next to some guys getting the Jean special. He was just pouring stuff that wasn't on the menu. I am embarrassed to admit my jealousy, but it's so true.

I did get a pour of GCB out of it though, so it's a win.

You sure it wasn't freshly filtered CSG? I really don't remember seeing any Bruoc, but I was also gone for a bit giving my folks a tour so maybe I missed a bottle or two.

Pretty sure it was GCB and it was delicious. Im even more sure it wasn't anything aged in Armagnac
