I had a package shipped at the end of last week that’s in my hands already. I’m in Philly so assuming it went through NYC.

Most of my boxes from Belgium to Boston take roughly 6 days. The period between "Processed Through Facility Brussels European Mail Center, Belgium" to when the box gets to NY is typically 3 days.

I've got a current box that left Brussels and hasn't hit NY yet and it's been well over a week. Trying my hardest to forget about it and tell myself it'll show up soon.

I’ve had boxes I’ve shipped from Germany get to the US as quickly as 5 days, and take as long as 6 weeks, w the averag around 2 weeks. I figure it’s best to try to just not think about it, easier said than done of course.

I just had two etre boxes shipped to me in Chicago. One box went through Chicago customs & took about 6 days door to door. The other went through LAX & customs. I was a bit worried on that one but it showed up 2 or 3 days after the first box arrived.

Showed up today. 1 month from order.
Cracked a vat 109 from this box.

Super intense aroma from feet away. Not all that sour. My wife says very cheesy aroma, but I'm getting more tropical fruit /flowers. Somehow tastes both sweet and dry at the same time. Finish actually seems boozy which is weird for lambics for me. Definitely not one dimensional. Maybe some grape?
Thanks to everyone who recommended this - bought 4 of them.

I also found 109 to be boozy.

Man I know beer people really take **** way too far almost all the time, but everyone putting a “premium” on this batch of a&g or calling it honing is driving me insane(tbh I didn’t notice a massive difference between honing and regular OG as it was already, so there’s almost no way this batch can be markedly different than A&G). FWIW:

(Also nathanmiller not taking a shot at you trading for it, more the Facebook trades and razzles where they play up the HONINGGGG part)

I’m surprised that you’re surprised :)

Agreed. This batch of A&G and OG Honing are very different beers and I too am irked by the amount of people trying to hype up batch 21 just for their own trade/resale profits.

I hope to have Honing again some day though. It is daaaaaamn good. Also excited to see what future honey lambic comes out of 3F as I believe Armand will continue to experiment with honey infusions.

How does the reservation system with Etre work? I've always filled a box to get the most out of shipping and just shipped it.

If you reserve stuff, you pay now and then they stay in your account? Can you check the weight of your box and experiment with what you've reserved and what's available as you can when just ordering to ship now? Just curious as there are often bottles that pop up that interest me but I'm not in the position to fill up a full box at the time.

One caveat to the reservation system is you can't double dip on limits. For instance A&G goes up for a limit of 3, if you reserve some you can't order more down the road if they pop up again if it's marked again with a limit of 3. The system will actually let you do it, but Etre will reach out and let you know they are canceling those bottles.
