Belated, but I cracked a December 2013 Hanssens OG a few weeks ago.

Gueuze-ie goodness was on point with classic grassy funk. This wasn't as scaldingly sour as Hanssens can be and even had some honey-esque flavors (not to suggest it was sweet by any means). On par with the best regular gueuzes I've had. Furthermore, I was hosting the wife's coworkers for a sours tasting and this was the consensus favorite from the otherwise AWA-centric tasting.

I could hardly believe I prefered Hanssens over Cantillon and Tilquin when then I tried them all side by side.

Great tasting last night with islandboi8204 Fahmie25 lyoung8
First time with this one, very happy to say it really was pretty awesome. So much funk but I was honestly surprised how much was going on here--we were getting a hint of spruce and some vanilla. Carb was perfect. Obligatory "holding up well" comment

Today was a solid day.
Started off at Cantillon to meet up with doner24 hauab514 and aleigator for some beers and a trade. Drank a few bottles.

Where we ran in to Tomme Arthur and his crew. Before we finished our first drink Armand came out and offered us a private tour.

There are still a decent amount of seasons bottles left.

Met up with doner24 (Jesse). Completed another trade grabbed some dinner at Nuet Nigenough and then met up with Joshua, and his girlfriend Natalie at Moeder Lambic for a few bottles.

Anyone know if the new batch of tilquin squared has hit the states yet?

Wait wut?

Also... OGV '12 375 vs 750: anyone notice any difference between the two, or can one assume they'll still taste pretty similar at this age?

Also... in response to my post about needing to try more Seasons isaac11 opened these after dinner last night

All I opened was this blind flight... I'll get back at you soon for stomping on my little bottles

Drinking A&G tonight. Really nice. Very lemony, peppery, a little sweet, nice carb, smooth as can be. I wish I had a bunch more bottles.

I did an A&G 375 last week and aside from the cork making a dent in the ceiling (and I won't bore you with the precautions I took), it was the best fresh (<1 year) Gueuze I've had in a long time. Zesty, zippy, lime cordial, touch of salt and pepper. Almost seems a bit underrated as I haven't seen a lot of people raving about it.

We did a blind taste test with various vintages and A&G and A&G came out in the top 3. Now shut up about how good it is. They still have tons of 375s at the Lambik o Droom.

My cork was firmly planted in that bottle. Took some arm strength to get it out. Was surprised based on what I'd heard about others.

I enjoyed it quiet a bit. Would happily bang again.
