I probably shouldn't do this, but Raf/Bokkereyder is amazing!
Highlight of NotGT for me. The grape blend w dornfelder, Pinot noir and regent grapes was delicious, the cognac and blueberry was nice and unique, and the passion fruit was otherworldly!

Side note: we will have a few of his beers up for auction at Brews for New Avenues 2016, aug 27:)

This. The Wind in the Willow was knockout. No surprise they were sold out in no time. Serious business.

So much rage about arriving too late to catch this next week.

I honestly am still thinking about going. Flights into Copenhagen and back are only 20€ Right now. Leave early in the morning and head back late in the evening, does that sound crazy or just lambic?

Not crazy at all. I've done the same thing going between Brussels and London plenty of times!

Depending on where you are coming from it might even be worth trying to get some cheap accommodation and staying overnight.

Next door at Mikkeller & Friends there is a sour take over the night before (10th) across all 44 taps. I went to this in 2014 and they had some good stuff on. Now with the Koelschip thing I expect it will be even better. Might be worth asking about a taplist.

Or if you were to leave on the 12th you could catch the Hill Farmstead thing at Warpigs which starts at noon. Full list in the CBC thread but it's like 40+ beers. And there's always that nice lambic list Himmeriget of course.

If you had any vague ideas about visiting Copenhagen for beer stuff this is definitely the week to do it.

Not sure if this is seeing distro in the U.S., but definitely worth a try. First time trying a Boon goozie. Little sweet for me. Enjoyable and a nice break from all the 3F turdz.

This had a weird bloody/metallic flavor when it was fresh but that has faded a lot over time and it's got a lot better. I enjoyed the last bottle I opened quite a bit. Vat 44 is worlds better though.

Vat 79 was supposed to be out around March, I was told late last year. Anyone have any news on when it might actually release?

I had it twice last week, guess it's out? I liked it a lot more than 44 and 77 out of the gate.
