What lambic and what are you trading? If it is part of the rash of trade posts that read ISO: seasons, 50n, Blabaer, one of Cantillons etc FT: shelf ipas I would say no:)
Otherwise sure.

I don't have posting privileges so definitely not part of that problem. ;)

But seasonal stuff would be great. Ideal even. I am in Texas and just got my email from Jester King that I won't be going to Zwanze and the Texas Cantillon release. So I don't have access to much in way of Lambics. So really happy to have any trade options.

Otherwise sure. Plenty of people who are reasonable and love trading. There are a bunch of people who do not like lambic but get it to trade for ba stouts, I think these people are insane, but that is beside the point;) You should be able to setup some trades for seasonal lambics for similar wild ales, stouts, ipas with out much of a problem.

Good luck!
Bull ****. Heady topper trades $4$ with all lambic regardless of how often or in what quantity it's made. TH cans get more than $4$ ;)

I am not sure what goes in to getting trade privileges, but I would work on that and then post an ISO: lambic FT: and a list of what you have to offer. I might even be up for a trade depending on what you have and when you'll be in brussels.

cheers
Don

ps whisky can also get you lambic:)

Ratebeer is also a great way to set up an IP overseas. Lots of international traders over there, That is if you can get over that awful layout they have over there.

Speaking of crazy trade posts, do people not understand what "one-off" means when they are posting their iso threads? Or do they really think that bruery beers, bourbon county and whatever is popular ipa are going to pull the likes of Roze, Blauw, Crianza, JCN, Millenium etc?

In all seriousness, and it sounds crazy, but yes. I have a buddy who landed a crianza, roze, and blauw with trading things like mocha wednesday, julius, and some other slightly bigger bottles. granted he sent something like 18 bottles but still. Wouldn't have believed it until i saw the actual conversation (and the bottles he got).

But this is by no means a regular occurrence but it does happen.

Has anyone had this batch of Doesjel yet? Was it released at 3F yet?

I just had a couple of buddies go to Brussels (separately) and each of them set up trades that I thought were insane.

One guy took Florida beers - Cycle releases, Huna, Caffe Americano, Last Snow, Angry Chair bombers - and came home with a case full of Seasons, OGV's, Hommage, Zenne.

The other guy set up some trades like: Backyard + BCBS : Hommage, Caffe Americano: Scharbs '10, VR + BCBS : Zenne, BB Biscotti + BCBS : LPF.

Of you want to set up ridiculous trades for lambic, try the Dutch. Sours are almost universally despised and trade ridiculously low for adjunct stouts all day.
Beer geeks facebook group is a good place to try

Is there any way of knowing the year of an old bottle of Cantillon Gueuze? My friend got one from a guy that is supposedly 2004 but isn't sure.
