But the brewers and others have been calling it that for years!

There was a huge cache of it discovered not very long ago. People in the know apparently even have theories about how bottles in certain spots of the storage room are better than others. So did they make a ton of B1? For a one off from 1991, there are more untappd check ins than I would expect.

There was a huge cache of it "discovered" not very long ago. People in the know apparently even have theories about how bottles "in certain spots of the storage room" are better than others.

www.lambicstorage.infolol. Experts gonna expert.
B2 won't be as good, because the label won't give you legionnaires disease like B1 did.
(Would literally be 100,000 words arguing upright or sideways to no satisfying conclusion)
Don't worry I heard it's 50ml nip bottles. 1 per person so should be enough for all the neck beardsI´m going to start queuing outside the brewery tomorrow, just in case. By 2019 it´ll stretch to, at least, Brugges.

Here's a pic of mine that was picked up at DHvL. Capped only, no cork.Anyone have a Goedele's Bloesem? just received one and its not corked, just capped. found that to be a little strange. it also looks like they reused the caps from SpontanBasil, its green. but even the Basil i have is corked! can anyone confirm?

thank you for the quick response! thats exactly how mine looks. find it strange that they wouldn't cork it. on their website it says: "To keep the flavour as pure as possible only a cork is used without the usual Geuze ‘stopper’, a revolutionary technique in Geuze-land!"
Greater cellaring potentialThe version with the cork has a higher trade value, I think.
Yes, all bottles are just capped because we want to have the real taste of the blossom without any influence of the cork.
Enjoy the beer.
