Saw a 2011 at a store the other day, worth +$6 over the 2014? (I am not a gueuze connoisseur lambic fanatic like you guys, so I don't know how profound the difference in taste might be.)

"This product is no longer in stock"

You bunch have some fast fingers

All this talk of CR Kriek makes me smile...then I remember that all the places where normal CR sat forever and I could buy however much I wanted at any time no longer carry it in order to save shelf space for the back sweetened ones that move quicker. :/
Well it still sits at some places, along with some marriage parfaits ;)

So, the last time I bought anything from Biab was in 2013 (Armand Sets). I just bought some stuff and want it shipped. I have two orders that I elected to ship later. Later is now and I can't figure out how to request the shipment. Do I just email Kurt?

Yes, email Kurt with the order numbers you'd like shipped together. He will then create a new order for just the shipping and you'll get an invoice for that.

So I just got some '15 Fou and one of the bottles has darker glass than the rest of the bottles. I presume they were picked up at the same time and they have the same bottling date. Any ideas? Obligatory SeaWatchman tag as you may know.

My educated guess here (and I have a lot of bottlings like this) is that since Cantillon uses returnable bottles there's going to be some color variation depending on what ends up in the bottling queue for the day. All over breweries in Belgium there are crates and crates of returned bottles waiting to be washed and re-used. The courtyard at De Troch is like ******* graveyard of plastic cases and glass bottles.

So you're telling me it's not Pappy?...

Or they are all brand new bottles off the same pallet and one is darker. Not an unreasonable assumption from the brewery using the World's jankiest corks.

primebeer you can look at the bottom of the bottles for the raised patterns and other id marks. some bottles that appear darker are actually thicker and will weigh more also. check out talkbottles.info for more.

I tried talkglass.com before and made a type-o that changed my life forever.

Really hope Cuvee Rene Kriek does indeed become a shelfie around these parts. The bottle went fast up here and I was lucky to snag 2. I was really impressed with how good that beer is.

Also down for splitting an affordable 3fOG+GB box as long as you get the box and I pay for shipping to me. PM if there's something to be explored here.

I'm already holding bottles for harrymel, perhaps something could be arranged here.
