Yeah, I saw them go to no limit last night and forgot to purchase any until briefly before I saw your message when I bought the last of what they had. People can be mad at me....oops.
In fairness I waited a while after realizing this before posting about it to make sure anyone who really cared had their chance.
Anyone have pics of pre-1996 3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze corks? I'm trying to document the progession of their corks.
This guy loves the cork
My buddy at the local bottle shop: "If I were to get some Mamouche and St. Lam how much would you buy?"
Me: "All of it."
Spread the wealth
Traded for a '10 3F Schaerbeekse, I'm a happy lambic noob
Not a ton of carb left but man did 10 years bring the funk. Quite dry and grassy too. Beautiful Gueuze.

Do you just use a silver sharpie on your bottles?
opened a Dec 1 2010 bottling of 3F OG over the weekend.
cork came out with a whimper and the beer poured very dark and flat. thought it odd but it wasn't till I took a sip that something was very apparent it was off. horrible, oxidized, undrinkable drainpour

luckily my remaining 3 bottles from this vintage aren't this dark colored...
now find a pic of someone scrubbing their tongue...

By making American Lambic?we're working on about how modern breweries outside of Belgium are capitalizing on lambic's popularity today.
So my neighbor got a package today. It was addressed to me and had my address, but my post man is apparently dyslexic or drunk and switched a 1 with a 0 in his mind. The box started to tear down the seam, so good guy USPS taped it up.

Ugh... They just HAD to price it so that 2 would be 0.54 Euros under the 25 euro free reservation limit... So tricky...Had about 80 left when I ordered.
