...oops.

In fairness I waited a while after realizing this before posting about it to make sure anyone who really cared had their chance.
Yeah, I saw them go to no limit last night and forgot to purchase any until briefly before I saw your message when I bought the last of what they had. People can be mad at me.

this is probably a stretch but does anyone know of any lambic that was brewed on 8/23 don't really care to get one from the exact year i was born because i already know that will be a stretch but any lambic brewed on august 23rd? tried this last time but nothing came up

Not a ton of carb left but man did 10 years bring the funk. Quite dry and grassy too. Beautiful Gueuze.

opened a Dec 1 2010 bottling of 3F OG over the weekend.
cork came out with a whimper and the beer poured very dark and flat. thought it odd but it wasn't till I took a sip that something was very apparent it was off. horrible, oxidized, undrinkable drainpour :(

luckily my remaining 3 bottles from this vintage aren't this dark colored...

That doesn't look right at all.

I have had a few flat 375s from 3F over the last few years. Not sure if it is the cork or if something else is to blame.

For anyone that missed it in the .info thread, it only took about four months, but here is our work up on "lambic" in West Flanders. It's a fairly short read on the main pages as well as on the pages that branch off of it, but worth knowing for historic and cultural context and it really leads into the next section we're working on about how modern breweries outside of Belgium are capitalizing on lambic's popularity today.

So my neighbor got a package today. It was addressed to me and had my address, but my post man is apparently dyslexic or drunk and switched a 1 with a 0 in his mind. The box started to tear down the seam, so good guy USPS taped it up.

Oh yea, there was also this... I was becoming a little nervous...

Not the best packaging I've seen from them, that's for sure.
