OK guise,
primebeer gave me another chance to drink his lambic & this time I didn't screw it up. A&G Vintage mag, A&G & 2005 OGV.
It had been a few months since I had anything from 3F, so this was a treat. The regular A&G was incredibly bright & vibrant. Vintage A&G tasted amazing, really musty & dank. And as it sat & opened up, additional nuances developed...incredible beer. Now as for the 2005 OGV, Etkin warned us the provenance was a bit suspect. And sadly, it had a lot of apple cider vinegar, also balsamic vinegar characteristics. It was awesome to have OGV for only my second time, it just wasn't particularly good.
But, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to drink such amazing beers. And for
primebeer for doing his second lambic share in 1 week...what a guy.
