It was my first zwanze so I don't have other years to compare it to but I liked it. Wine barrel aged pale sours are my thing though.

Funny you mentioned that. I assumed that chlorine scent was from the glassware being recently cleaned before serving at the venue. Which is also possible I guess.

It's available at the brewery right now (to drink on site) so they bottled some of it at least.

In Lambic-Adjacent News

At the UK Zwanze events, Burning Sky released their Coolship No 1, their first 'gueuze' - a three-year blend from their coolship stock. Up until now they've been using Girardin lambic, tanked over and fermented in their barrel stock, to blend into their Cuvee and Reserve beers, but this is the first 100% blend of their own spontaneously fermented beers.

Unfortunately with only a few hundred bottles it's sold out everywhere and I haven't been able to lock a bottle down, but it's reputedly very good (albeit obviously #notlambic).
