$230 after shipping for 4 750's and 3 375's... can't pull that trigger.

Haha me neither, but I have been patiently updating several sites multiple times a day to try and catch good single bottles when they come around and figured I would let you guys know. I think this is the first time I've seen LPG available online (haven't been looking very long tbh)

Opened a few bottles of gueuze last night. 2 750s each of girardin cuvée Rene and boon Oude gueuze. All were deliscious but one of the CR I believe the bottling day was August 7 2011 blew the cork like you wouldn't believe. As the cap came off the cork literally shot 50+ feet in The air and landed 25 feet away. One girardin cork shot prett far with a push from the thumb and a boon shot my brothers hand off as he pushed down while undoing the cage

Were they able to save your brother's hand and sew it back on?

I have never seen so much carbonation and zero gushing in my life.
More importantly, did he save the beer?
none of the bottles with obscene amounts of carbonation were gushers. I was surprised that Cuvee Rene did not shoot forth like old faithful.

For those of you that have had te bag in box lambic,

I'm gonna order one in the near future and see how much I enjoy it. I imagine I'd probably order it often after that.

With that said, would it be possible to get a very small mini fridge, put a faucet at the bottom of the fridge itself and inside run a serving tube from the box to the faucet, to have a sort of gravity feed tap?

No real use to do it other than to look nice and have a separate little fridge for it

Why wouldn't that be possible? Hooking it up could be messy/annoying and it seems sorta pointless, but it's definitely possible.

If your looking to just get one, get the girardins kriek. But if you want the regular lambic get both girardins and oud beersel. On their own the straight lambics are not that complex or interesting but by playing with blending them you can make some stellar concoctions.

As for the fridge as stupac said too much work, they come with a wine-in-box style faucet already. No real need to add an additional one, plus you'd have to figure a way to attach said tap without introducing any oxygen into the bags. I haven't figured a way to hook anything up to the existing tap on the bag yet and that's not from lack of trying.

Apart from regular OG that's pictured, I haven't heard anything else. Also, two per person on the OGV.
