Mûre Tilquin - first trial (9 photos)
We are very happy to announce that we launched yesterday a trial for a new fruit lambic beer. Indeed, yesterday we get 957 kg of blackberries (mûres in french) from Germany. These were slightly frozen to guarantee the quality. These 957kg were set in a tank of 2000 liters, with lambics of 1 year old. At this stage, we do not know how long they will stay in the tank and what will be the final dilution with 2 years old lambics.

I like Tilquin playing around with the beer like this. I hope they do more of it and replace every single Lindemans Fruited Lambic on the shelf.

Drinking 2009 MP. Delicious.

Lemons, oak and an intense wet dusty must. Earth. Love it.

Taste is little orange, lemon, that musty earthiness and a tannic dryness to close it out.

This is dope

Latest batch of regular Cantillon, bottled late Dec 13, seriously under carbonated, or was it just a one off bottle? Picked up 3 on Wednesday and the bottle I opened on Thursday was as flat as a bottle of Haanssens. This is not a complaint, it was the best beer i had this week, it was funky as hell, was just anticipating more carb. Opening a bottle that has been sitting a year tomorrow for science

I opened a Belgian flag 375 a couple months back which was also very flat, and been curious about this too.

Anyone know if a spreadsheet for the various Uli/h.ertie beers exists? If not, I think it would be helpful to start one to have a database that's (ideally) more accurate and easier to access than Untappd.
I've asked the question too, the answer is untapped and that's it. Though it'd be cool if someone took the time and tried to make sense of it all. The harder I looked the more Uli blends I found. A lot of his blends have been in the 26 bottle amount range, so I'm always seeing new/old ones I can't find info on.

This has been on our to-do list, so a google doc was set up. If anyone would like to add to this, please feel free. Don't worry about alphabetizing them or anything, just add them for now; we'll clean it up later. Please follow the format that was set up. If there's additional info with no appropriate column, just note it in the comments. No need to translate anything, just type it as is. If you have a photo of the label text (left side, right side, full label) that's readable, please upload it to imgur and post the link in the spreadsheet.

Please take the time to read through the entries to make sure you're not making a duplicate. Thanks!
