local for me is Huntington Beach, typical OG is 14$, AG is 19$ for 375

They've hit stateside distro? Or is this one of those cases where a store has purchased from a website and are selling them back to the public at an extra markup?

So how should I try to put on a tasting? Blind? They're close in vintage (with a couple exceptions). Now that I really look at them all it seems like it is going to be a marathon in 1 night...

Do it blind! It's a lot of fun and you might get surprising results. I did a similar tasting (a lot smaller, only included Cantillon, 3F, Boon, Tilquin, Girardin, and Hanssens) and we were all shocked by how poorly 3F did (unanimous last place by far).

Mine departed "from office of exchange" last Tuesday, and nothing yet stateside. Hope this works out for everyone!

Based on what we have deduced and what Etre said, it's customs sitting on them since we all got email that BPost filed a claim with USPS and BAM registered as processed through facility New York, NY.

Glad it's basically no shipping season here. I need a break.

Just an update for anyone else waiting. My BIAB cantillon pack shipped last week and cleared customs today.
BiaB here too. My invoice email said I'd get an email directly from the carrier once it was shipped. I never received anything but my BiaB account showed that it shipped 10/23. Just arrived in Michigan today with zero notifications along the way. Aside from the lack of communication it was kind of nice not worrying about my box getting held up at customs or stressing about the timely progress of the box. 6 inch hold in the side of the box but all bottles are intact.

thanks for the .info. I always use the bottom "sender barcode" number on bpost and paste into usps. Usually that gives you the tracking. Either way good to hear, crossing my fingers.

Etre responded to my request for an update...

"Bpost informed us that USPS is having some delay in the deliveries, anyway the normal transit time is between 1 to 3 weeks."

No **** there's delays in deliveries - that's why I was asking for help.

Guess I'll just bump BPost and hope they can get USPS moving...

I have a buddy who's was sent out in the first wave of BIAB and hasn't received notification past that it was sorted and ready to go overseas....that was like 2-3 weeks ago.

Boon Geuze Selection. Pours still with grass and green apples on the nose. Mild tartness, bright citrus and lemon followed by a different funk that I haven’t found in Boon bottles. Closer to a copper/almond finish instead of the heavy mineral notes I usually pick up.

First time with Boon on draft, but this was great. Looking forward to to revisiting the keg over my stay here.

I got my first notification today that it had cleared customs. Right at the 3 week mark from when it shipped.

That's how it goes sometimes. USPS providing a free blood pressure test.

That's crazy. A buddy and me both paid for our shipments through BiaB on October 31st. I paid at 10:33 AM and he paid at 1:20 PM... his box arrived YESTERDAY! SEVEN DAYS! Meanwhile, mine wasn't even given to bpost until November 5th and is still sitting in Belgium, being held up by the strike. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to how this works.
