What sort of nonsense is this?
Lambic de 20 mois à été houblonnée à froid avec un mix de houblon Hallertau, Mosaic, Cascade, Simcoe et Sorachi pour apporter un bel équilibre entre l'acidité de la bière et le côté floral et fruité du houblon.
20 month lambic dry-hopped with Hallertau, Mosaic, Cascade, Simcoe and Sorachi. Sounds tasty to me.

Does Tilquin topically have bottles to go? How are the on-site offerings if any?

Hoping to making it out there this July

I've never been there when Pierre doesn't have bottles to go. It's usually at least Gueuze, both Quetsches, Stout Rullquin, and most of the time, Mûre. All of those beers should also be good for your skin, dermatologist recommended.

On site bottles are usually all of those, Saison Vignon, plus one or two special/more experimental bottles (e.g. Pinot Noir, etc) depending on what time of year...fall is usually best in terms of special offerings due to recent bottling.

Awesome, thanks for the info!

I’d be happy drinking gueuze all day, but gotta try that pinot somehow.

seems to be a good distance away from the city. Is my best bet a rental car? Looks like there are busses that head that way.

There are buses that stop right along the road that run from Halle - we got the bus home from EBF this year when the shuttles stopped. They’re not very frequent but if you time it right, it’s a lot cheaper than a rental (and, you know, don’t drink and drive).

Thanks! Of course, I’ll have my s/o to shuttle me around.

Re: Tilquin - Pierre generally closes in July and parts of August because that’s when most Belgians are on vacation. He’s likely doing that again this summer. I just tried a bottle of the newest batch of Pinot Noir that will come out on the fall and it’s absolutely phenomenal. The one I had was pretty damn carbed too.

I've only had b2 x2, and I'm of the opinion that Tilquin Pinot is a very fine beverage I wish I had a few to try at the 4-5 year mark but is tasting great as is.
I thought it was good. Very refreshing, but not quite as aggressive as some folks may like.
