Hello out there!

I'm just starting the journey of fermenting my own alcoholic drinks. So far, it has been fun and rewarding, and I hope that eventually it will be cost effective!

So far, I have made a Sauvignon Blanc from a kit, blackberry wine, grape wine, and a spiced ginger beer. My friend has hop bines, so I expect brewing beer beer is coming soon, but the equipment is a little more involved. My favourite beers are the varied and flavourful varieties found in Belgium, but I'll generally drink anything.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

David

Welcome to the forum from a Texas Brewer. Been along time since I've been in Belgium. I was tracing my late fathers steps in WWII which led me to Belgium (he was at the battle of the bulge- armored division). I liked the Belgian folks, they were real nice to me. I owe them.

Beer is easy, a large soup kettle, 2 plastic buckets a big spoon and an airlock and you are on the beer brewing highway.
