Unfortunately, it will only be for on-site at 3 different venues. It's a blend with Pinot Noir Grapes and will be released in october at those venues.

Mûre has been confirmed to be released at the Tilquin English Beer festival again.
First year will be on site at three locations next year they plan to release it

Picked up a bottle of hanssens scarenbecca today, but it had a label I had never seen before.

I've only seen the label on the left until this bottle.
What's the difference? Any other than label?

Same. Though we do need to get a page written for the Schaerbeekse Oude Kriek now which is different.

Drank one of those recently and it was awful. All acetone.

So glad I have another bottle

There's massive bottle variation (as there seems to be with all Hanssens). Had one that was amazing, had one that was starting to be overtaken by acetone.

Had Rose de Gambrinus on tap at Crooked Stave today. Wish I knew what batch it was. It smelled like chlorine when it was poured cold, but was pretty good as it warmed and the fruit came out.

Guys behind me were talking about how glad they were the keg wasn't Iris, but Iris is much better imo (and I drank it on tap recently, don't know why I keep bumping into Cantillon kegs.) people like their fruit.

If I was there and they had a keg of iris I would not leave til it was kicked. Maybe my favorite cantillon

Is there anything I should take into consideration for doing Brussels for a couple days sometime between July 5th-August 10th of 2016? My buds and I should be making our way around Europe at that time. I don't have any real set plans except something I want to do in London on the 9th, and something I'm trying to be in Amsterdam for during August 4th-7th. Any tips are appreciated, cheers!

some of the best lambic brewers and blenders in the world are in and around Brussels. You should definitely plan to visit some of them.

Yes, I was wondering if there is anything going on during that time frame of the year that might be unique or interesting. Thank you for your very helpful response!
