I've been using k meta for wine sanitizing. Would it work for beer equipment as well. Mainly carboys

assuming you mean acidified, as with citric acid? i can see no reason it shouldn't work. (disclaimer, i am not a chemist, and have never run kill rate trials with k-meta!) in my opinion it's far more unpleasant than starsan/iodophor, and much more of a pain to weigh out each time, and i hate the noxious dust, and i'd really become anal about draining it off my equipment, but if none of that's a problem for you then why not? sanitization in theory is no different between beer and wine fermenters!
