It is a AHS lawnmower lager, 3 weeks in the primary, than kegged , 30 psi for 30 hours and then 12psi for 12 hours. It was flavorful but pretty harsh and full of floaties. The question is can i pull it from the cooler and let it condition at basement temps (68 deg) for a couple weeks. I figure i should leave the pressure and just disconnect it from the hoses,is this ok?

If it is truly a lager it should be cold conditioned around 32-36 degrees for a month or more, then transferred to another keg for serving. You would only be transferring to prevent anything that dropped out during condidtioning from resuspending once it is tapped.

it is not a true lager, it used a yeast that ferments at higher temps, wyeast 2112. does it still have to be lagered?
here is the kithttp://www.austinhomebrew.com/product_info.php?cPath=178_452_378_377&products_id=292

I did a cream ale at high temps with notty and i thought it was lost when i laggered because it had a yeasty taste,so i pulled it added AE!!!!! 5 weeks later its like sammy light ,kinda;I guess the moral of my storey is do whatever u think is right esp if u think u can save a whole batch, u never know:mug:

Tasted my first AG brew today. I did Ed's Haus Pale Ale. Crappy efficiency (55%, OG 1.035, FG 1.002). It looks, smells and tastes like day old Miller Lite. I was tempted to toss it out but since I had gone through the trouble of cleaning and sanitizing the bottles, I figured I would bottle it and hope for something close to drinkable. If not, I'll invite some friends over who love BMC beer;)

I did the same recipe a week later and got 65%, OG 1.05 so hopefully that turns out better.

Wow...I would recommend NEVER judging a beer until it is completely done. The time it takes to carbonate it will do wonders for a beer sometimes. I would absolutely bottle every batch unless it was mega infected lol.

It'll turn out fine....... I made a batch of ed's a couple months ago. I hit the O.G. that the recipe called for but it fermented down to 1.004 (just slightly higher than yours). It tastes BMCish (watery) but it's good. It kind of tastes like nothing. Doesn't taste like hops, doesn't taste malty, no off flavors. Just twelve ounces of emptiness. That being said, i think my ed's still has more flavor than bud light ........ probably not better than old style though.
