Gently expired white labs Zurich lager yeast
Made small starter 1000ml water to 54 grams of dme with pinch of yeast nutrient .Only on stir plate for about 12 hours.
 
How many have experience with that yeast? Even if it doesn't look normal, if you did things correctly, i'd say use it, even though it does look "unique", but I havent used that yeast before, maybe it's perfectly normal for it.
 
That's why I was asking I've made a lot of starters but never came across this. Looks almost like clay balls
 
A 007 or 002 starter also looks weird the first time you put it on a stirplate. This sounds weird, but to me it looks great, even though it looks odd, I'd want to eat it.
