I have an older style Blichman 27 gallon Fermenator circa 2013 that I am turning into a boil kettle. Is there a silicone option that would work for the lid? Plan is to boil with the lid on and a steam condenser. Alternatively, does anyone know if the OEM seals can handle boiling temps for an hour or two? Thx.

They are probably EPDM which is fine for boiling temps.
