I thought of a recpe off the top of my head at the homebrew shop:

6 lbs of 2 row
2 lbs of white wheat malt
.5 lbs of gambrinus honey malt

Nottingham yeast

Then I used .75 ounces of perle at 55 min and .5 cascade at 10.

OG 1.044

I wanted the honey malt to shine in this beer because I have never used it before. Do you think this beer will have somewhat of a balance but will lean more toward the sweet side? I wont know for another three weeks or so.

I am using honey malt for the first time this weekend and supposedly from what I have read, 0.5 lb should provide plenty of flavor

I have been experimenting with honey malt... .25 lb in my wheat beer, couldn't really taste any honey flavor, then I added .75 lb to an IPA. I think I'll try .5 lb in my wheat next time. The IPA turned out really good.
