OK, so my wife has enjoyed most of the coffees that I have roasted. I mistakenly bought a box of Kcups that was flavored with Hazelnut that she said was really good and asked if I could do something like that with my roasts. Well, I thought it would be something to look into, right? So, I came to the pro's. Anybody do any sort of flavoring to the beans either during the roast or right after to introduce a bit of flavor to the beans? I will of course do a Google search to see what I can find, but real world experience is usually a better indicator of what works. Any and all comments are welcomed. Thanks all

Never done it myself (I like my coffee black), but curiosity got the better of me so I found this. The company in the article said they add oils or extract to the roasted beans, letting it infuse (method #2).

I suspect the K-Cup makers just mix in some flavoring with the ground coffee, probably something like this.

drizzle natural hazelnut extract onto the beans as they're cooling, stir well. You could also buy some roasted and ground hazelnuts and put a spoonful over your coffee grinds before doing a pourover, but I don't think it will have the same impact.

Not everyone wants to share a full pot of hazelnut coffee!!! Get her one of these, and then anyone who wants it can add it to taste, and anyone who hates it, doesn't have to brew a separate pot!

Both she and my daughter like flavored coffee and they both have kcup pods they can fill up or do a pour over, so a full pot is never done anyway. It was more she asked and I became a bit curious about it.

My sister buys some hazelnut roasted coffee beans that the rest of my family loves (and I detest!) so that was the inspiration for my post

(I love all kinds of crazy flavors in my stouts, but coffee? In the morning, when I'm just trying to wake up? No thanks!)

I hear ya, we have about 4 bottles of different flavors that I cannot stand either, so I completely understand. LOL.
