This is my 5th batch and from what I have seen from several pictures on here, it looks like I have an infection.
So...what do I do with it? Dump it? Let it finish?

Thanks

Can you post a close up picture of one of the floating rafts? From that pic it just looks like normal yeast rafts to me. But at that level of quality mold colonies would look about the same. A nice close up pic would help a lot. Also, what yeast did you pitch?

Thanks for the close up shot, that really helped. It looks like normal yeast rafts to me. As the beer continues to finish up over the next week or so these will get smaller and usually fall out completely. These are just the less floculant yeasts hanging out on top.

That looks like krausen to me.

Smell it and taste it. You'll know.

+1. By now hopefully you know what green beer tastes like so that you don't dump it due to minor off flavors that should condition out.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate it.
I've told myself that I wouldn't be one of those guys that was like "oh no is it ruined?" Kind of guy but it happened.
Cheers!
