Hops in cooling wort?

Do you guys remove hops right after the boil is done or do you leave them in as it cools? The reason I ask because I don't have a very fast way of cooling and can take 20-25 minutes sometimes to get it down to pitching temps should I leave hops in as cooling or not? I don't want to mess up a recipe by making it more bitter because I left the hops in.
