Well I think I learnt another beginner valuable lesson.

Was making a blonde ale and I don't know what I was thinking but I calculated hops wrong or wasnt paying attention or both.

I wanted a IBU of 20.

I ended up at 70 ish.

been in primary for a few days. House smells like hops hard.

That's how I realized I used to many. All I can smell is hops.

like a IPA

Centennial hops.

Well....

ANythign I should do or maybe change up while putting in secondary.

I read here just bottle and wait forever....

any suggestions I have a really bad feeling this will be undrinkable. or at least difficult????

If you're sure that was your final IBU'S, just wait to drink it.
What was your hop schedule and grain bill?

used 2 oz centennial at 10.5% AAU

1 oz 60 minutes and other oz about 30 minutes

oops.

sure smelled good brewing

Well as you have already figured out, thats way too much. Your beer is most likely going to be way too bitter with little hop flavor or aroma.
For future reference 60-30 bitter. 20-0 flavor and aroma.

If you don't like hoppy/bitter beers definitely sit on this one for a while, however the bitterness does not fade fast like the aroma does. You can always send em my way and I will drink them for you! You can find friends that like hoppy beers to help you empty them out or use them for a beer batter too. Lots of things to do with brew you don't necessarily like drinking yourself.

Could even brew a very lightly bittered beer and blend them.
