I recently placed an order with
Austin Homebrew Supply ( first time using this company) for grains and hops to make a batch of the famous centennial blonde ale on this site ,,
Problem is the cascade & centennial hops arrived with no listed strength percentage on the bags
I went back to website and looked these hops up and it says
Cascade 4% to 7%
Centennial 9.5% to 11.5%
All hops I’ve ordered in the past from different company’s had the actual strength of the hops listed on the package making it easy to dial in recipe IBU , how in the world do I dial in IBU’s with the hops from
Austin homebrew supply since it could be anywhere from 4% to 7% or
9.5 to 11.5% ????
I won’t be ordering from this company again , not just due to the hop thing but it took forever for them to box it up and ship plus another week or so for delivery to arrive , almost a month from time order was placed till it actually arrived .
