Homebrew Club

Me and a couple of brewing buddies are starting a brew club. I was just wondering if we need to register with anyone or had to pay and kind of fee to be an offical club? We are looking into entering in some competitions as individuals and as a club. I don't know if you have to be an offical club to enter club contest.

Contact the folks at the American Homebrewers Association American Homebrewers Association | Home They have a list of recognized clubs, although I've never looked to see what is required of a club to make the list.

If you want to be recognized by the AHA, you have to register with them. Then you can be an AHA-recognized club and enter their "clubs only" beer competitions.
