Hello all!

I've been lurking all around the internet, and mostly on this site for help/questions on homebrewing. So much so I decided to join up in case I couldn't find the actual answer to my questions. Then I could just ask it!

Bought my deluxe starter kit last April or so, and have only done 3 extract kits so far. Everytime I've upgraded part of the brew process and I think I've got the basics down pretty well. Best upgrade so far - full boil outside with a propane burner!

So far my biggest problem is . . . drinking all the beer I made! My SO doesn't really drink beer, and I'm not nearly confident enough yet to give my beer away so I'm stuck with 5 gallons to drink. I prefer mixing up what I drink, so it takes me awhile to get through it all. Though, I think I've gotten comfortable enough that I can start giving part of my next batches away!

I've already got my next few batches planned, but I'm sure I'll be looking around to see what else new I can do to improve my beer!

Welcome Fishay! :mug:

I had a similar issue with 5G of beer just being too much to drink. I switched to 2.5g batches and this seems a good fit for me.

You may also find some local brew buddies on the forum here that I am certain will happily volunteer to help you with that issue. :D

If you are still looking for volunteers I might be of some assistance ... Looking like I will be in Milwaukee on and off through the end of the year. I'm from Los Angles so I am not sure how I will handle winter.

Welcome! I lived in Milwaukee for 3 years and I loved it, winters and all. I too have the burden of drinking all the beer I our house as well, maybe we should form a support group.

Such problems... just invite a few friends over.

I'm orig from Waukesha and the wife is from Brookfield. All family still between Waukesha and Milwaukee. Maybe we can hook up for a brew the next time I get up there.

I have the same "problem" you have, the wife doesn't drink beer, she has started having a few sips of mine, so I'm the only one pulling off the three tap keezer unless a friend stops by. No worries, if all the kegs are full and the primary is waiting then I just don't brew. To be honest that doesn't happen all that much.

Brew at a rate you can handle with the amount of storage you have, or start bottling some, either out of the keg to finish one off or the batch that's ready. Either way, I'm guessing if you tell a few friends about your problem.... you won't have a problem.
:)

Hey there, We are based right out side of milwaukee. Saw frost on the ground today and much rather see frost on my beer glass. Anyway, welcome !

Thank you, I'm out west until the end of November but back for a month. You all have provided lots of ideas and I thank you for that.
