I've been brewing what could almost be called beer for about 10 years. I'm interested in gadgets like Brewpiless to upgrade my equipment and improve the temperature control of my 16-gallon (60-litre) fermenter.

Looking forward to learn a lot from all of you!

I looked up brewpiless, and my first inclination is to keep things simple. You just don’t need a bunch of technology to make decent beer. But If that’s your thing and it’s fun go for it.

Welcome. Lovely country. Which part are you from?
I live in Piedmont, Monferrato hill

Yeah, that's true. But i recenty upgraded my setup from an old and crappy 30l AIO to a 65l Brewzilla gen 4.1 and giving that the fermzilla 55l conical fermenter no longer fits in the chest fridge, i've been searching for an easy, cheap way to monitor and control the modified chest fridge kegerator temperature, the fermenter temperature, and the chiller and pump setup 😅

Welcome!

With tens years in you have a good idea how beer can be made.
I know a couple of stuff, but i've never tried a complex beer or complex process. After all, i'm a simple man. I drink hoppy stuff and i'm happy 😁
Now i would like to try making mead and hard seltzer. Maybe even some distillation in the future!

thanks to everyone for the welcome!

What do you consider a "complex" beer or process?

Brewing doesn't need to be complex, some brewers make it that way but it doesn't guarantee great beer. Many of the simple recipes and processes make outstanding beers.

for example i never tried to brew a real pilsner or any lager style, never tried stout or dark beer in general, never tried lambic, berliner weiss, saison, never tried to do a real NEIPA, never done any kind of yeast starter or even modified my water profile.

What beer styles have you brewed before and just ales?

Saison is an easy style to try, just 2-3 grains, the yeast selection is probably the hardest part but there's some great suggestions here. Stouts are nit that hard either, just finding the right recipe that appeals to you. Swing over to the recipe area to find something.

As far as water additions, you need to know what you have first before jumping into that. My water makes great beer with zero additions.

Yeast starters can be fun but just using healthy yeast to start is all you really need. Again, lots of threads here on that subject too.
