Starting 5 gallon extract batch. Recipe is an American Amber Bock. Question is do I or should I add irish moss to boil? I am leaving brew in Primary for 3-4 weeks, no secondary, then keg.

oh, well don't worry about it then
I forget the Irish Moss about half the time.
You can always use gelatine or isenglass after it ferments
if you think it needs it

From what I read (I'm no expert) Irish moss is not a necessity. Also, it doesn't seem worth driving 30 miles for (60 if you include the trip back).

I've never used it in years of brewing. I might start playing with it but its importance isn't critical. Just brew!
