Hi everyone. I have been a lurker for a while now and I thought it is time to stop lurking and start posting! About 10 days ago I started my first batch and am waiting till I get back from the National Farm Machinery show in Kentucky to bottle. If any is interested my recipe is as follows:
2 lb Light DME
4 lb Pale LME
.56 lb Cystal Malt 80L
.56 lb Roasted Barley
.31 lb Flaked Barley
1 oz Fuggles
.5 oz East Kent
White Labs Irish Ale Yeast
Starting gravity was 1.044
Hope it comes out ok. I am little nervous cause I didn't know the white labs yeast is under pressure and well, lets just say I lost a little bit.
