Electric brewing nearly a reality.
Just over a year into this brewing addiction, im close to realizing the ability to brew electrically. What a road it's been. To anyone thinking of merging on this highway, it's a long trip. But rewarding.
In planning, take your projected costs, and make the decision is based on, what if it ends up costing 50% more? Finally bought the spa panel, 8-4 SOOW cable and the remaining PID's and PT-100 temp sensors are on the way. Maybe squeek out one last batch with the afterburners this weekend, and then try to assemble and test the rest of this monster within 2 weeks to brew again.

So far, im pretty happy with how it all works. I have some upgrading of other components now to take care of. Brewed up 10 gals of a pale ale this morning. Third all electric batch. I seem to be boiling off too much liquid even with the EZ Boil controller set to around 75%... Lost roughly 1-3/4 gallons in an hour boil. More fiddling required... lol Cheers
