IMO, that's the benchmark for oatmeal stouts.

My second beer, a Lagunitus Maximus. It's been in the back of my fridge a while, and the aroma is a bit muted, but still tastes good.

Back home last night after three weeks in Minnesota. Just went to the keezer for this beer only to find an empty 20# tank. Must be a leak somewhere because it wasn’t anywhere near empty when I left it. Luckily there was enough CO2 in the keg for a pour of some HB pale ale.

Planning to grill a couple rib eyes for dinner later. Hopefully the grill isn’t out of gas too, which would be quite concerning since it’s actually plumbed into nat gas.

NY Strips are certainly not the most tender of cuts, but they do have some very good flavor.

HB "Old School" IPA. Delicious, just tapped yesterday. 2-row, 2lbs MO, 1lb C40. Chinook, Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe. Warrior for bittering. But the Centennial and Cascade were Lupo, the Simcoe cryo...so kinda old school
