Made a wheat beer that had an OG of 1.044. Added apricot purée to secondary(didn't take a gravity reading). I read the purée would have an OG by itself is 1.036 - 1.048. So if I just took the median of 1.042.... Would it be correct to take 1.044 starting and add 1.042 to be my OG....? Is that right.
