I was thinking of buying a gowler and making a mini batch of beer then adding it at bottling.. any thoughts?

5 gallon batch of honey brown ale:

6lbs 2row
7oz chocolate malt
12oz honey malt
1lb honey
12oz brown malt
4oz carapils
and.. forgot to add 1lb crystal 75.

based on that limited info.....

i wouldnt try to fix it. any recipe i can think of will still make a decent beer without crystal75.

it may not be what you intended but it will be beer.

I say take the 1lb of crystal 75..........
and the rest of the grains to make up the recipe and make another batch!

Leave the original the way it is. It's not going to be exactly what you expected, but it'll still be a good beer, and if you make another batch you can compare the two side by side to see exactly how that one grain addition changes the beer.
