Flaked rye substitute?

Is there a store bought substitute for flaked rye? Like minute rice can be substituted for flaked rice, and I've heard grits can be a sub for flaked corn, but is there something like that for flaked rye?

I bought Rye Flour when I had no Rye Malt, but I haven't used it. I BIAB, so I don't worry about flour, though flaked rye is sticky anyway.

Rye flour should actually get you pretty close. But keep in mind, you'll certainly want to use rice hulls along with it if you don't want a stuck mash, so I hope you have some of those on hand.

I might just go get some flaked rye when I get around to it. A stuck sparge sounds like a giant pain.

Flakes and flour do not need a cereal mash. The flaking process gelatinizes the starches, and the milling process for flour cuts the starches down so far that cooking them to turn them into glue just... turns them into glue. Only adjuncts that are non-flaked and in bigger chunks, for example cornmeal, would benefit from a cereal mash.
