Bottled up an APA I brewed a month or so ago. Wife and a few of her friends ranted and raved about how good it was and how they were glad I finally brewed something for them. The beer was chockfull of fruity off flavors that had no business being there. It tasted like straight apple juice. The good news is I know what went wrong. The better news is that they drank a case of it this past weekend and I sent everyone home with the rest of it.

If your wife and here friends raved about how good it was, you didn't do anything wrong. Brew the same and keep the wife happy. Then brew some for you the way you like it. Then drink some of hers. Your tastes may change and you'll learn to appreciate "her" beers.:rockin::mug:

Bottled up an APA I brewed a month or so ago. Wife and a few of her friends ranted and raved about how good it was and how they were glad I finally brewed something for them. The beer was chockfull of fruity off flavors that had no business being there. It tasted like straight apple juice. The good news is I know what went wrong.
