Hey there everyone. I'm new here, and I thought I might introduce myself. I just got done bottling my first brew, a schwarzbier, and I'm pretty excited about it, but I had a couple of questions.

1) What's an easier way of sanitizing the carboy/bottles? Currently I'm using a chemical solution to sanitize both.

2) Someone I work with had mentioned a CO2 method of carbonating the brew as opposed to priming it with sugar and letting it ferment longer. I couldnt really find any information about this.

3) Lastly, it's most likely a silly question - but how will I know when it's done fermenting in the bottle?

1) No, nothing is simpler than a no-rinse sanitizer.
2) Forced carbonation is strictly for kegging.
3) Testing. Check one after a week.
