looking forward to having it againDrank a fair bit of the new Eek at Hunahpu Day yesterday, and it's exactly as I remember from last year.
Good stuff.

This, I understand. There is nothing about Midway I prefer over O'Hare though, flights are always delayed, nowhere to eat or drink, pain in the ass to get to. MEH.
It's pretty clear Dunt's only knock on MDW is that it's not horse friendly (And yes, the food).
also the DLD onsale too perhaps? folks crushing the ****** wifiApril 8th? Woof.
Whatever happened to that perfect storm of a Stoutfest on ACTUAL St. Patricks Day?
I don't remember what year it was (2012 rings a bell for some reason).. but that was a damn fun day.. from what I remember..
and a manhattan BCS that emptied into the jockey during the VIP hour.April 8th? Woof.

Much smaller brewery list this year, with some notable absences from the pastry stout contingent.Stout fest tickets are onsale tomorrow at the "Am i really sure I need to go" price point of $52
Haven’t popped a bottle, but on draught it seemed fine. Happy to share some if you venture out our way.
Probably just homies subsidizing their trips.
Probably so. Just surprised to see people unloading 6-8 at a time. Like, isn't that all they let you leave with??

Also sad to not see Clybourn listed as a separate entity. Hopefully they highlight beers produced on-premise vs. the production facility...
Was something wrong with this year's batch of Hunahpu? I'm seeing a lot of local FS posts offering 8x each for not much more than retail.
Just weird.
Also: Hiiiii!!!
It was on the BPT site. Although it looks like they've added to it after tickets went on sale, since More and middlebrow weren't on there before.Where did you find a brewery list? I wouldn't expect you see a lot of on-premise beers unless they're from before the renovation. Supposedly they just began brewing at Clybourn like last month.

Yes! I loved it at FOBAB even though the majority seem to think it's trash

I have not, but I am very intrigued. I tend to like scotch aged beers even if they are over powering. Did that see distro here, or was it draft only?Did you try Scotch Parabola? That was a drain pour for me.
Marketing team decided not to sully the BCS brand on untappd from e-cerones? Really want to try it, hope I see it on tap somewhere (or at stout fest or something). Not exactly but close. I really liked it. Really excited to see how divisive this one is.

This is the result of what happens when you source too many Scotch barrels and you try and salvage something, ANYTHING from the ideology that lead to the Prop fiasco. This beer is absolutely awful and I am a huge fan of scotch. In the wise words of Three Floyds from a less complicated time: Caveat Emptor.
