This is the best conspiracy theory on the planet.

False. Bernstein/ Bernstain bear trumps all.

Also to add my $0.02, Doug doesn’t post about EVERY Rev event in here and we appreciate his discretion of posting only things he know will appeal to the majority of us. Agree that it could be a potential tragedy of the commons situation if every brewery gets on here and posts, but i feel we do a good job of heckling the hell out of “outsiders” until they leave.

It absolutely IS ridiculous. This seriously isn't a big deal. I thought i elucidated my point quite clearly, but i guess i'll do it again: I am of the opinion that it's weird when breweries/bars/whatever dip into enthusiast forums and promote stuff. I get the direct marketing aspect of it, and i'm not saying these businesses shouldn't have a presence or anything: They should. But...

Compromise: Light Publican post frequency here, but Lambic Doux gets its own Instagram account

you know who i blame...

I'm not sure I know who you're referring to. Someone get Rockapella on the line.

The Mandela Effect isn't a conspiracy theory; It's scientific proof of alternate universes and constant Crisis-like mergings and separations of them.

True story: about 15 years ago, my dad and I got in a huge, pre-internet argument with my sister about what the color chartreuse is. Turns out that dad and I weren't wrong. We just remember a different universe.

Don't know whether to like or not like, I am so confused.........
bryan from middle brow - Can we finally make that smoked porter?
nick - no ones likes smoked beers, theyre ****** gross.
B - didn't you love abraxxxas?
N - hmmm, maybe only slightly sour/wild smoked beers work.

color me intrigued

Had that Dovetail beer at FoBAB, it certainly is a smokey funky wild that is what you are looking for. I got a bit too much band-aid personally.

Either that, or you just had no idea what color chartreuse is, like most people, and just assumed it sounded kinda red.

Edit: someone make a chartreuse sour beer, that is a greenish-yellow color, but randomly release a couple bottles of deep red cherry sour with the same name to mess with people.

The color these people are misremembering is Cerise. Child minds and poor memories mixed the Crayola names together.

It will be the NE Hazy IPA of 2019. Mark my words. Smoked meat and smoked beer fests. And the flatulence. Oh, the flatulence at the fests.

Except smoked meat/seafood comes out of necessity/preservation whilst smoked beer comes from a place of self hate and confusion.
Dont get me wrong I like a good rauch or smoked porter but Chicago beer drinkers thoughts on Dovetail went from

"Dovetail is looking like a real MVP out there"

to

"lol @ the weird kid eating grass in the outfield"

I love sour smokey stuff. In fact, the beer i brewed with Freigeist as a Publican Collaboration Beer that will be available in March or so is just that....but i dunno, i have this weird idyllic view of Dovetail as unsullied by trends and just generally amazing at executing proper German beers. So i dunno...i knew it was coming but i'm feeling just ever so skeptical.

Can you please stop pushing your Publican agenda here, it's our forum after all...
