It just occurred to me: it's quite possible the CBE guy probably decided that, instead of drinking his old-ass Hopslam down and learning not to let his eyes get bigger than his stomach next year, he'd rather try to turn lemons into lemonade by knowingly selling or trading past-its-prime beer to some sucker.

I'm not a CBE member...hopefully someone else called him out.

Isn't BA Rasputin like $25/500ml retail? $20 for a 10oz pour seems like a lower mark-up than on, say, 16oz of Daisy Cutter. ($2.50 or so a can vs. $6 pour at a bar)

Would not buy either draft or bottled BA Rasputin.

Not a typo. I talked to Gus about it and those North Coast BA kegs are apparently stupid expensive. Fischmans follows a regular formula for mark-up on their drafts. I think BA Raspy keg cost 2x more than bcbs keg.
